Website

I began working on my website today while Izzy was napping and Len was at work. Basically the first page is the only part that is done due to the fact that Isabella only slept for a couple of hours. I am modeling the site after the business cards that Len created for me because I want everything to be consistent and polished. This was very difficult to make decisions about because I want it to show my personality while remaining professional and tight. I am vintage crazed through and through and I wanted it to be stylized in that fashion while still keeping it simple and to the point. I would appreciate as much feedback as possible.

Jennifer

While I was in VT I tried to do some personal work (jarring) and some slightly less personal work (pretty). Jennifer Hathaway was my muse. I started thinking of Barbie but in a beautiful and unconventional way. Jen has long legs and can put herself into these uncomfortable poses that I look for in a good model. I enjoy uncomfortable photographs that make the viewer question the content of a photograph. Jen is beautiful but doesn't have to be beautiful all the time and I love her for it... She sat in dirt in her pretty pink dress, hiked it up, went barefoot and did whatever I asked. Here are the beautiful and sometimes wonderful/creepy results.

Burlington, VT

I had the pleasure of working at a cute little boutique called Mirror Mirror in Burlington, VT last weekend. Saying it was a great trip would be an understatement, it was wonderful. The ladies that work in this store are the most helpful and genuinely friendly people I have ever met. I photographed a few of the girls I made over, though I wish I had a group shot. The owner Joanne and the manager Lindsay are amazing and keep their workers and customers very happy. What can I say, there is something in the water. So if you ever find yourself in Burlington stop by Mirror Mirror.

Charlie

I took these portraits of Charlie a couple weeks ago. I think he looks adorable and I enjoyed using film again.. Film is my long lost friend. I think I will start shooting with film more often. taken with Mamiya 645 AFD II.

Petting Zoo & Green Animals

My family and I had a beautiful day at the petting zoo & green animals in portsmouth. If you ever get a chance please check both places out. The petting zoo is free, Green Animals is cheap and both are worth the trip.

Wedding Makeup

This Makeup was for Cory and Sara Luminello's Wedding in May. The bridal party wanted really natural which is always easy when using Laura Mercier products. I always feel like LM makes the skin looks so natural and luminous. I was very happy and so were the girls.

A little bit of Michelle

I photographed Michelle early in my photography career and actually won an award from one of the images. Of course I was happy when she agreed to be my model for my makeup work... She is always such a good sport. It also doesn't hurt that she is easy on the eyes...
